ROCHESTER (CBS) — A 10-year-old Rochester boy was in a position to donate $1,800 in books to a variety library. Kelcey Robertson is biracial and wished to do one thing to assist youngsters like him.
WBZ-TV first learned about Kelcey this summer season when Kelsey began a fundraiser. He started promoting lettuce grown in his residence container backyard.
After incomes $1,800, Kelcey used the cash to purchase books for the Rochester Memorial Faculty.
The books function multiracial households and kids of coloration so youngsters like Kelcey can see themselves within the tales.
