PORT WASHINGTON, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) — Pets from storm-stricken Louisiana will quickly be prepared for brand new houses in our space.
Staff from the Lengthy Island-based rescue shelter traveled to the Gulf Area to convey the animals north.
“There’s numerous rural areas in Louisiana that simply don’t have the potential of caring for animals with medical points. Puppies are being euthanized each day. We had been in a position to take again a mother and 9 pups,” a person with the North Shore Animal League stated.
The North Shore Animal League is now establishing adoptions by appointment solely.
